Cindy Ace has been on a metaphysical quest for over 25 years. She has studied at a Spiritual Retreat run by Catholic nuns, taken a year long Shaman healing course, practiced Transcendental Meditation and Art of Living breathing technique, all in the pursuit of healing oneself spiritually and physically. Cindy became a certified hypnotherapist in the late 1980’s and practiced for nearly 10 years. After a little detour, Cindy has returned to her love of assisting people in healing themselves.
Recently Cindy began practicing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), a technique that utilizes meridian tapping to release emotions that become stuck in the body. Our body is a system of energy centers that become out of balance through stress, illness, grief, sadness, accidents and a host of other life experiences. These life experiences show up as pain, insomnia, anxiety, stomach issues etc. EFT treatment helps us bring ourselves back into balance by releasing the core emotion causing the imbalances, thus reducing and often eliminating the problematic symptoms.
Cindy also uses hypnosis for behavior changes such as smoking cessation, weight loss, reducing anxiety and insomnia, and improving performance. Hypnosis is accomplished through relaxation, quieting the mind and the use of guided imagery by the hypnotist. Studies have shown that our brain cannot tell the difference between what is visualized and that which is experienced, and so accepts the visualization as real and is an effective change mechanism. Through visualization, we are setting the stage and creating a healthy, balanced outcome.
Cindy will draw upon her wealth of experiences and techniques to assist each person in reaching their individual desired outcome. Either the EFT technique or hypnosis can be used to treat anxiety, pain, sleeplessness, weight issues and many other issues.
