Jessica DePete received her master’s in Acupuncture in 2005 from the Tristate College of Acupuncture in Manhattan after extensive study with renowned master acupuncturists. Her approach is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine and inspired by the alchemical acupuncture style of Lorie Eve Dechar. After practicing for several years in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, she joined the Wellspring family in autumn of 2008.
Jessica integrates herbs, dietary counseling, and Asian therapies such as gua sha, cupping and moxabustion into her acupuncture treatments. She has worked successfully with a wide variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain (such as low back, shoulder, knee and neck pain); anxiety and depression; infertility; gynecological disorders; insomnia and stress; chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia; asthma, sinusitis and allergies; headaches and migraines; irritable bowl syndrome and other gastro-intestinal disorders; TMJ syndrome; and cancer and chemotherapy support. Her mission is to encourage wellness on the physical, emotional and spirit levels, depending on the unique needs and interests of each patient.
